Proa Nova turns rigorous anthropological research into digital maps. The maps help people locate themselves and navigate complex territories of human experience: career transitions, burnout, loss, belonging, identity, meaning. Enough clarity to decide with steadiness instead of anxiety.
What Proa Nova is not
Proa Nova isn't motivational coaching, therapy, or a mental health service. It's not a personality test, and it's not generic productivity content. A map doesn't tell you what to do, doesn't classify you, and doesn't replace the professional you may need.
The problem it addresses
Some experiences are common and still poorly served: moments of real complexity (a transition, a loss, a decision with no obvious answer, an exhaustion that rest doesn't fix) where you feel the weight of the territory but can't yet name it precisely. Without a name, there's no map. Without a map, there's no movement.
The promise
We give you a precise map of the territory you're going through, so you can decide with clarity. We don't tell you what to do. We don't label you. We locate you.
Territories we cover
We work territory by territory. Each one is a distinct kind of complex human experience:
- Career transitions and career change
- Burnout and loss of direction
- Loss and grief
- Life-cycle changes
- Bonds: separation, loneliness, belonging
- Identity, reinvention and meaning
The first map available is the Career Transition Map. Other territories are in research and will be released one at a time.
The method, in brief
Behind every map there is a way of working: we start from published research about how people move through what doesn't yet have a name (transitions, grief, identity, work) and turn it into maps with documented states, recognizable patterns and practical orientation. Not empty metaphors. Not loose intuition. Research turned into a tool.
