Frequently asked questions

What people usually ask before taking a map.

Is this a personality test?

No. A test classifies people; a map describes territory. Your result gives you a location in a process that changes over time, not a permanent label about who you are.

Is it coaching?

No. A coach accompanies you toward a direction. Proa Nova maps the territory so the direction is yours to decide. A map can be useful within a coaching process, but it isn't one and doesn't replace it. See the full definition in What is Proa Nova.

Is it therapy?

No. If you need emotional support, or symptoms persist, a mental health professional is the right path, and the map itself tells you so when your answers suggest it. Proa Nova offers clarity to move with better judgment; it doesn't treat, doesn't provide clinical diagnosis and doesn't replace therapy.

Who is it for?

Adults in moments of real complexity (a transition, a loss, burnout, a decision with no obvious answer) who need structure to understand what's happening before deciding. We started with professionals in career transition, but the methodology works for any adult crossing complex territory.

What does it cost?

The Quick Map is free and requires no sign-up. The Full Map is a paid product; current pricing appears on each territory's access page.

When is the Full Map worth it?

If the Quick Map resonated and you want depth: more nuance about your location, additional patterns, a Canvas pre-filled with your reading, and a practical 14-day guide. The full flow is described in How it works.

What do I do with the map after reading it?

That's yours to decide. The map is a tool, not a prescription. Some people use it to talk with someone they trust or with a mentor; others to choose their next small action; others to understand what to ask of a specific professional.

What happens to my answers?

We don't sell data and we don't use your answers for marketing. Details in Privacy. The research behind the maps is in About the method.

What languages is it available in?

Spanish and English.

What if the result doesn't describe me?

It can happen: a map is a probable reading, not a verdict. Every result includes a way to tell us what didn't fit, and that feedback is used to refine the map. If you bought the Full Map and it didn't serve you, write to support@proanova.com within 14 days and we'll refund you.
